The icons are perfect for me!

No problem with the icons here either.
Is it the size or the spacing between the icons that you're having trouble with?

You can add "Separator(s)" which will slightly widen the spacing (in addition to adding the separator bar).
(Maybe if there existed a "Space" button.)

You can modify Windows settings that would affect sizing, but that would affect all windows & not just Salamander.

(Now I do not like the Folder icons, feeling that they are too similar to archive [.zip] icons. Also don't like the font type-face. Much preferred [I think it was in Salamander 2.0] font & folder icons. [Yes, I know that the font can be changed, just never bothered with it.])

AS toolbar - 16x16 icons, text off

Where is the problem? Only difference is toolbar buttons size.

Especially on a laptop with touch pad and high-res display I think 24x24 or maybe even 32x32 tool bar icons would be handy.

The toolbar icons in 16x16 are ok for me, but it should be added an option to use 24x24 toolbar icons or bigger.

The problem is we have only 16x16 icons. It would mean up-scale existing icons or redraw complete icon set.

Up-scaling would be the worst solution. I like and prefer the smal icon bar.
