Remote Desktop Drive

When I use a computer over the Windows Remote Desktop I have all my local drives accessible over the desktop, but cannot find a possibility to use one of the local drives on the remote computer within Salamander.

A plugin for this feature would be very helpful.

Thanks

Horst

Hi Horst, it is possible to access your local drives using UNC paths from the remote computer. Start Salamander, press Shift+F7 (Commands > Change Directory) and enter \\tsclient\c for your drive C.

It is possible to add such paths to the Hot Paths (Options > Configurations > Hot Paths) that are displayed in Change Drive menu.

Does it help?

We should probably include \\tsclient\* paths directly in the Change Drive menu.

It's also available from the Change Drive menu. Choose Network Neighborhood | Entire Network | Microsoft Terminal Services | ...

We are going to release Preview Build version 2.53 beta 1 (PB 38). Since this PB it is available directly in top level directory of Network plugin. When you open Change Drive menu, and choose Network (or just use Ctrl+, key), you can see Local Computer folder just below Entire Network folder. This new folder contains all local computer drives (\\tsclient).
