Crash on viewing a CSV file

Altap Salamander 4.0 always crashes for me when viewing a CSV file.
There was no such problems in 3.08, and other CSV file are shown correctly...

Fix for version 4.0 is attached. Just unpack over existing version (x64 version is in C:\Program Files\Altap Salamander, x86 version in C:\Program Files (x86)\Altap Salamander). Enjoy.

Wouldn't it be nice if this fix was automatically delivered via the checkVersion plugin?

I think this fix should be more prominent. All users (including new ones, now that Salamander is free) are downloading and using a version that is known to be broken!

Are there any more patches like this? I only found out about the patch when I just now tried to report this same bug, so it would be helpful if any patches could be referenced in a sticky at the top of the forum, at the very least.
I tested again to see if the zip-destroying bug is still there, and it is. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=37379

The creators of Salamanders have permission from Fine ltd. to work on Salamander. They will patch these lose ends. You can read (in Czech) - @ viewtopic.php?p=71747#p71747

Indeed. I just stumbled here. I've been using Salamander since the early nineties (and we paid for an educational V2 version way back then) and that bug with 4.0 was very annoying. I decided today to check if an update was available and nope, then decided to check the forum and OMG! YES!!! No more crash! And that was way back in 2019!!! I wish I would have known back then. Anyway, now may coworkers also know about it.

Yeah, just checking if there is anythink new with Salamander and get across this thread and found out there is bugfix for this bug which is annoying me for so long.
I am very sad about situation with Salamander.
