FTP Client can't connect to a FTP-Server

I can't connect to a FTP-Server (it displays message "Unable to get IP address of server"). At the same time when the Salamander FTP-Client doesn't work I tried a different program (WS_FTP) to make sure everything is okay with the address and that worked pretty good.

That's very strange. What about some personal firewall or antivirus
blocking Salamander? You can try to rename salamand.exe to some other
name and try to run it - firewall will ask you for access to internet,
you should answer ALLOW.

Can you imagine me banging my head against the wall? Sometimes I'm so blond.

Sorry about that. Yes, it was the firewall. At least now I know that it
works.
