Erghm.

Looks like AS since 1 July starts showing "Buy WinSCP" dialog when WinSCP plugin is used.
So WHERE I can buy it?

Same here!

I'm using the SCP-Plugin almost all of my working day, and without it, I would have to revert to the standalone version of WinSCP, which would significantly lower the value of Salamander for me.

Please use WinSCP in trial mode now. We are working on purchase pages for Salamander version 2.5 (includes also self-extractor for ZIP archives). I expect it will be finished in two weeks. Sorry for inconvenience.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't purchasing the full version of Salamander 2.5 include the WinSCP licencse

If not, this is not all clear on the Salamander download page.

Like others, I use the plug-in on a daily basis and consider it pretty much essential.

You can download new version of Altap Salamander 2.5. Reminder for unregistered plugins (WinSCP and PictView) is inactive until September 1, 2007. After this date you will be able to purchase licences for these plugins on our new purchase pages for Altap Salamander 2.5.

Download it from: http://www.altap.cz/fix25/as25fix.zip

Installation: replace original salamand.exe file in your Altap Salamander 2.5 installation with supplied new version of salamand.exe (overwrite it).

WinSCP plugin will be licensed in the same way as PictView plugin. Its author is Martin Prikryl, ALTAP will pay Martin for all provided licences. This is stated on our Download page since first version of WinSCP plugin (November 30, 2003). You can check it in Internet Archive: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.altap.cz/

OK, thanks for the updated salamander.exe Petr.

I went back over my old emails and found my order confirmation when I purchased Salamander over 2 years ago. This states that the Pictview plug-in license was included (at a 50% discount). I presume this license will still be valid and I will only need to buy a WinSCP license, right

Yes, Salamander and PictView upgrades are free of charge (registration keys are accepted already, you can see PictView's About dialog). If you want to use WinSCP, you'll need to purchase its license (again with 50% discount, so you'll pay 12 USD).

seems to be corrupt; neither Salamander nor Winzip can open it. Is there something that can be done to at least fix this?
