Re: Directory name in [brackets]
I prefer to see file names in that case that are on disk. But I don't care anymore what Altap Salamander does or does not. I've created my own, plattform independent file manager in the mean-time. Not that versatile like Altap Salamander, but good enough.

Re: Cannot login via SFTP/SCP anymore (OpenSSH 7.4p1)
I use WinSCP since a couple of months, but it's only a compromise - pasting file paths does not work, setting the local path does not work (it always remembers the paths, either permanently or from the last use), the selection using keyboard does not work reliable. Please fix it SOON. I would repurc...

tajmone, now you've delayed the next Altap Salamander for further 5 years.

Re: Directory name in [brackets]
That's what I indeed used now. Just thought there was such an option - I have seen something like that recently, but it could have been in a competing tool.

Directory name in [brackets]
Just curious, is it possible to show the directory names in [braces], so they are easier to distinguish from archives (I'm on a 4k-monitor)?

Re: Any news? Any upcoming version?
I think, this RTL stuff over-complicates the matter for 99% of the users. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know your actual sales - I'm just judging from our own software. Or do you intent to expand to the RTL markets massively?

Re: Any news? Any upcoming version?
Just curious: what is the difference between LTR and RTL for file names? Is it about the input fields in the GUI that need support for that or really the file name? I can't imagine how this influences anything under the hood because IMHO it would just be a plain string.

Re: Any news? Any upcoming version?
I reckon you can skip the bi-directional text at first. The most users will have LTR languages.

1) Encourage developers to use different development model like night builds, specs, coverage, etc. - with arguments (not yet heard a single one). You can even help the developers with the faster development if you want. I would prefer this option. That way Altap would have alpha/beta-testers and A...

Re: UltraHD monitor display
No.
I have implemented 4k-monitor support for our applications, too, not just for Windows, but for OS X and Linux, too. It was no rocket science.

Remove Read-Only-Flag for any copy-operation
Hi,
I would like to have the option to remove the read-only-flag with any copy-operation, not just from CD/DVD sources.
Thanks in advance.
