Re: Crash on viewing a file
Are there any more patches like this? I only found out about the patch when I just now tried to report this same bug, so it would be helpful if any patches could be referenced in a sticky at the top of the forum, at the very least. I tested again to see if the zip-destroying bug is still there, and ...

AS run-as-Admin can't launch program not-as-Admin
When AS is started in Run-as-Admin mode, it doesn't want to let you launch a program without also launching it in Run-as-Admin mode. This includes both pressing ENTER when an .exe is highlighted in the panel window, and pasting the filename.exe into the commands prompt of the panel below the file li...

Re: DOS programs won't run from command shell
The path you listed is 95 characters in length. The 16-bit DOS max length for path+filename is somewhere around 64 excluding the C:\ part. Bug deleting entire contents of ZIP
A potentially nasty bug in Salamander 3.08. It happens when you move a filename on top of the same filename that's not the exact same case. To reproduce: 1. Find any zip containing more than 1 filename where at least 1 filename has more than 1 lower-case letter. 2. Make a copy of the zip and work ON...

Re: Any news? Any upcoming version?
If the RTL character is going to be supported, most users of LTR languages would prefer a default setting to not enable this RTL character, as it's useless to them and could be harmfull. If there's a filename like: Normal_Filenam $+ $chr(8238) $+ fdp.exe A font like Consolas that doesn't enable the ...

Re: pictview: PNG not displayed correctly
Unsure if the above Picview problem is related to mine. Seeing this in 32/64bit versions on Win7. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zw1hdr3shfvhg3x/AAA-XnMzVEIxb4rrsqer_xuva?dl=0 F3 Pictview viewer for at least several Salamander versions has error "Unknown type of compression" unless there's an ...
